It’s nearly that time again
IQFA* Festive FUNdraiser! Save the date!
Friends, it’s time to put the IQFA Festive FUNdraiser in your diary!
This year’s sale will take place in Rathfarnham Meeting House on Saturday 2nd December from 12 noon to 3 pm. We hope it will be as well supported as last year’s!
Once again, we hope to have a big focus on arts and crafts, home-baked goodies, books and children’s activities … and, of course, there’ll be the ever popular café!
Please save the date and start thinking about what you can do to help make the event a successful FUNdraiser for Irish Quaker Faith in Action.
Thank you to those of you who have already started making crafts, jams etc!
See you there!

IQFA Response to Earthquake in
Turkey and Syria
On February 6, 2023, multiple earthquakes devastated southern Turkey and northern Syria, resulting in thousands of deaths and injuries, as well as widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure.
Although IQFA is not intended to be a charity that provides emergency relief, the IQFA Committee decided that we were willing to make an exception in this case.
IQFA has donated €3000 toward earthquake relief to EACH of the following :
Christian Aid (https://www.christianaid.ie )
The Irish Red Cross (https://www.redcross.ie)
UNICEF (https://www.unicef.ie )
All of which are actively working in both Turkey and Syria.
